The Calendar Event API retrieves Event information from Luminate Online® so you can display Event details in a third-party website or web-based application. For example, use this API to populate Event information in a custom calendar.

The Calendar Event API supports either HTTP GET or POST requests. The APIs are client-only and do not require authentication because they are called in the context of an anonymous user.

The API queries the Luminate Online® Calendar Events database. Information returned from these methods includes:

• eventType - The Event Type selected when the Event was created.
• attendanceOption - The Attendance Option selected when the Event was created. (e.g., standard and multiple day)
  
  Recurring and multiple part events do not have the Attendance Option, so the value returned is 0 (Open attendance).
